Psalm 139:7-10
“7Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!9If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,10even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.”
Psalm 139:16-17
“16Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
17How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!”
How vast is the sum of them!”
I’ve read this many times and every time I am humbled by God’s love for me. His hand will lead me. He goes with me everywhere. His eyes saw my unformed substance. If I were to count His thoughts of me they would be more than the sand.
I cannot fathom His love for me. Being a mother and experiencing life inside my body is indescribable. The love I have for my son is beyond words. I cannot imagine God’s love for me.
Lord,
Help me to put my love for my son into action with disciplining him and shaping him into the man you desire him to be. Thank you for your undeniable love for me. Amen.
