2 Samuel 7:8
"8Now, therefore, thus you shall say to my servant David, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel."

I love how the Lord uses people who "appear" to not be very strong, or authoratative. David was a shepard who played music and God raised him up to be king. God resists the proud and raises up the humble.
At times it seems what my giftings are seem so small. How can I impact the world with my small abilities? But, I am apart of His body, the church, and altogether we can make a big impact. All the small things turn out to be one big thing for the kingdom!
Lord, Give me a humble heart. Use my small gifts for big things for your kingdom. Amen.
