Ronalee and I are glad you stopped by to partner with us in the adventure God has in store. Pastor Ryan has made it clear that as a team, we all need to be strongly committed to preparing our hearts and minds well in advance of the missions trip. We have committed to being in the word of God daily, journaling what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us, regular meetings, regular fasting and prayer, and only 2 hours of secular media a day. Let’s just say it took us 3 DAYS to finish Gone With the Wind, ha! (seriously it did).
We’ve already amassed a good amount of journal entries and God has really been speaking to our hearts. Being in the word of God really changes your perspective on everything. We’re constantly reminded and refreshed with His eternal truths and able to apply them to our lives. We think we’re reading the Bible, but in truth it’s reading us, ha! Married life has never been better and I can honestly say that the closer we get to Christ and the more time we spend with Him, the more we fall in love. I’m so proud of my wife and the woman that she has become in Him. I’m lookin’ over at her right now playing with an obnoxiously loud electronic toy with Sawyer..I am blessed people!!
We’re gonna get to daily updates Monday, the day after Mothers Day. I guarantee God will meet us all in this together and we know that He delights in His kids getting’ together to talk about Him, amen?
