1 Thessalonians 4:8
1"Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.
Paul is asking and urging them to please God and not to live like the Gentiles. I love how Paul says'"..that you do so more and more." It's not a life of standards and obeying the ten commandments. We are to grow and learn more and more, to strive to please God and be a good example until we are no longer on this earth.
Lord,
My spirit is willing , but my flesh is weak. Give me your strength.
