Psalm 30:5
5 "For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning."
I remember when I wasn't close to the Lord, when despair was great in my heart. I would fall asleep not remembering how or when and woke up with the same, much despair. Now, when trouble is ringing in my ears, and the pain is in the night, truly there is joy in the morning with the Lord. Despite my mourning, I dance.
Lord,
Thank you for joy in the pain. There is none like you!
1 Thessalonians 2:2
